Good point about noting the temps and such on the slips. I saw a couple other guys making notes on their slips my first night, and that tipped me off. I've been jotting down things like what RPM I launch at, whether I did a burn out or drove around the "wet spot", temp, humidity, and if I felt that I spun out at launch or not.
In fact, I just bought a cool digital temp/humidity gage to put in the car for track nights. It was only $12.50 shipped. It's not exactly scientifically accurate, but it beats trying to surf the web on my blackberry to find out what the temp/humidity is.
