I've broke out twice because I can't figure out what my car is going to run once the weather changes by a few degrees. I've been averaging almost 2 tenths quicker than qualifying. I don't want to look like a sandbagger either. Actually the points races have a red light rule, if the starters see your brake lights at the finish you get one warning and then disqualified. I think it's good and keeps bracket racing honest.
I was going to ask you if used one. For some reason I figured you did.

Seriously??!! If you use your brakes at the finish line you're out?? WTF? I have never heard of a rule like that. What track do you run at? I know if you smoke your tires at the finish line(done this plenty of times, lol) you can get a warning or be disqualified. Hell, I would be out the 2nd time down the track! lol......Using your brakes at the finish line is part of bracket racing!!

Serious it's when I run the ET Summit NHRA points races. It's called the Tire Smoke Rule - If track staffing views excessive braking the following shall take place; 1st Infraction will be given a warning, 2nd warning shall be a disqualification. Now I could see some fool locking them up on the top end, but from what the regulars tell me it's for guys sandbagging.
When I run street trophy, it's against more normal street racers and they are hitting their brakes all the time. Heck it should be called sandbagger's street trophy. With these other hardcore guys, they run like 12.105 on a 12.10 dial. They are freaking awesome, I just hit better reaction times and it's enough. A quick way to get black balled is to be a sand bagger, they don't like it one bit. It's like heads up but on a dial.

13.366 @ 106.49 at an altitude of 1200' corrects to:
13.198 @ 107.86 at Sea Level. Sweet!

And according to my whp equations, that puts me at 299.82 WHP - bone stock!

I'm getting psyched up to race tonight!
