No need to reinvent whats already there. Hope this helps and we appreicate it.
edit:Oh and forgot to mention if you go to Home Depot, they sell the Owens Corning insulation foam. It comes in big pink sheets. This stuff is perfect for a project like this as it forms extremely well with a plastic sanding block and you can shape it any way you want. If you're any bit artistic its awesome for projects.
I used this stuff to make my rear diffuser copies of the Startech diffusers. I just need somebody good with fiberglass to actually do the molds. But the stuff is awesome to work with becuase its resiliant but moldable.
Price range is not going to be nearly as bad as I thought but there will be a core exchange charge. Tonight I did a mold of the lower airbag/lighter panel turned out great. The lines shouldn't be a problem at all. I have seen other projects on here and even though they are custom they look exactly that custom I DO NOT WANT THAT. I want this to look like you bought it this way sorry for the guys who want this to look not stock. Everything is going good I too have joined the hacked dash team, but I almost $hit myself sitting in RC's car just thinking out loud, when all the sudden he comes back with two pieces of dash and a grin on his face. lol I Was not ready for that.
For those wondering where the progress is at on the pod and why I am already on project two, Relax it is at the painters he was out of town so I couldn't pick it up today, and I should have it by Wed. I will get the rest of the product ordered up, also hopefully our samples of headliner are in later this week.
MAYAMAN check ur pms I would be more then happy to help you out with the fiberglass shoot me an email with the pics.
