NO coil compressor needed I would say this is one of the easiest installs when it comes to springs I have ever done (mind you I used to work with jeep lift kits) it takes some man handling for the fronts and a good pry bar or pickle fork to get the original out but the new springs go in easy as can be. DO not undo everything, I left the caliper still all connected, as well as the shock just undo the A arms if you are mechanically inclined I wouldn't worry about this job at all. I did it in the driveway with one jack stand, a jack, ratchet, pickle fork, and pry bar and took about 2 hours total. Rears take about 15 min a piece front is about 30 min give or take a piece. Some of the threads got cleaned out but I remember posting about this earlier
