I just read an AP article on Yahoo news about how gas prices are staying high even though the price of oil per barrel is going down, and demand for gasoline is down (approx 5.5% from last year). Prices are staying high because of threats in Nigeria. Wait... what? they're staying high because of threats? Last I checked, that's not how our economy works. I thought it was more of a supply/demand thing. Not a threat of lower supply/regardless of demand.
