Removing a Sirius antenna
The previous owner of my car cleverly mounted a magnetic Sirius antenna on the roof of my car and it has scratched the @#$% out of it. That is another issue, though. Anyways, I'd like to remove the said antenna from the top of my car. Would I be inviting disaster by disconnecting the battery, cutting the single wire running to the antenna, and either capping the wire off or insulating it with electrical tape or something similar (should I have it done professionally by a car audio shop)?
