It ticks me off to no end when people do this. This is just plain ignorance. I recently had someone scratch my front bumper even though I parked away from everyone.
In my case I'm using it as an excuse to replace my bumper with the SRT bumper rather than fixing it. My original bumper is in pretty good shape other than that scratch.
