I hate to be the devil's advocate here, but the Miata is parked about a foot over the divider (yellow line on the ground). If she had parked properly, her chances of getting whacked would have been reduced by about 90%. That car is what, 9 1/2 feet long?
Or, the truck was parked, properly in its own space, and the Miata driver used the Stevie Wonder Method of Parking Etiquette.
