Re: Check engine light came on.
Just got back from taking my car in to dealership and the tech still seems to think the light comes on due to the corrosion at the connector/terminal at the gas tank. He is going to replace both the high pressure sensor terminal/sensor and the connector. He went to check availability of both and the Chrysler parts computer stated that neither item were available. He said they will have to contact Chrysler to see when they will be available. He also stated the sensor connector was only available as part of a large harness but would cut and splice it to the current harness if not he would have to disassemble most of the rear portion of the car to install the new harness. I'm starting to get a little worried about this since he is not even sure if this would fix the problem. He did call Chrysler tech support and they advised him to start with this since he could visible see the corrosion. I'll keep you updated as it progresses.
