It's actually really easy - I used the Stainless Steel Braided Kit from Spectre (P/N 7498) that was on sale at Kragen for $43. I needed extra hose covers for the intercooler lines and vacuum lines so I purchased a few more rolls direct from Spectre. I covered every hose for less then $100.

I used electrical tape to secure the ends (they get covered by the hose clamps) but then switched to the metal foil tape I purchased when I wrapped my intercooler. Wear some mechanic gloves (but you'll still get poked a few times) I used a old set of Fisker scissors to cut the braid to size. Purchase some good hose clamps to replace the OEM squeeze type.
