See... that's the thing. I never drive like that. It's not like I don't get caught. I never do anything to get caught. I hadn't had an opportunity to "safely" find out what exactly this car can do. Usually there's too much traffic, or the road isn't in good condition (too narrow, wet, rough, etc.) Or it's on a road that I would consider to be frequently patroled.
I finally have the opportunity where there's no traffic in my lane. It's a wide, smooth, dry, straight road. I hit the gas and only comfotably get to 80 mph. Faster than 80 mph, and I still don't have the confidence to drive this car faster than that. I drove my last car up to 110 mph. My mothers old car to almost 120 mph. Even my dad's old van up to 100 mph. Just something about this car and once I get about 80, I feel like I'm flying and I slow down.
I suppose now that I've admitted to all these other times I should mention i did all that before I was 18, when I was hit with reckless driving. Ever since then, I've taken it real easy, and haven't driven like that. The one time I give it a shot in my new sports car, a Madison County Sherrif deputy is ready to pull me over.
