I'm considering doing a Superman bible study for my Church. I'd like to show the comparison that Superman has to Jesus Christ and the way he is the Christ like figure we should all strive to be. A jew 2000 years ago = fictional super hero. Wait till those kids you try to brainwash get an education and then try to preach that crap to them. You should be ashamed of your self. I'm glad my grandkids won't be exposed to that kind of thing.
This is why Dr. Timothy Johnson who wrote "Finding God in the Questions" hesitates to admit he's a Christian because he doesn't want to be associated with this kind of bible thumping fundamentalist trash. John Westley Spong, a retired bishop in the Episcopal church says that if Christianity continues with this kind of fantasy stuff, it will eventually be a dead religion.
