I think the higher flowing models came from the 94 Thunderbirs SC, I think it has a square opening on the end, vs the older model which was more oval shaped . also they say the last years of the thunderbird sc had tighter wall clearance due to a thick epoxy coating on the rotating parts and housing.

. But its not like I can really run a lot of boost anyway. The manifolds are so simple you are gonna laugh
. I'm planning on trying a light epoxy coating on the lobe tips since that is where they seal. I'm also polishing the internals and going to run my methanol/water injection through the SC. This reportedly increases efficiency and cools the supercharger and is recommended on many sites including the site I bought my kit from.
