My first observation on my '04 was that the factory system lends itself to fabricating two pipes from the secondary cats to a muffler with 2 intakes, and eliminating the Y pipe altogether.
It seems intuitive to me that 2 exhaust pipes can double the volume of gases expelled.
Am I wrong????

My guess would be that because most Crossfires especially NA ones do not make enough HP to benefit from a true dual exhaust. I would think that running a true dual setup on a mildy modified Crossfire, one would lose a lot of back pressure and bottom end on the car. This is just my thoughts. anyone else?
