He had a few thousand miles on his system and it was very quiet on the freeway.

Since installing mine I have to say I absolutely love the sound but I will admit that when at slightly lower revs and easing into the gas, there is a noticeable drone. But only under those conditions. Then again, my wife and I can carry on a conversation at speed even with the top down so it seems doubly odd that you exhaust was so loud as to preclude conversation in a closed car!
Mike: Not so bad a volume that you couldn't converse, it was just too loud for me to enjoy listening to music or speaking as I was used to doing before the exhaust was put on. It happens to be in that RPM zone that bugged me. IF it were half the volume, I possibly could stand it. If I were running outside next to my car, I'm sure I'd love the sound as much as everyone else here does. I think that the roadsters have the trunk buffer thing going on also.
And, I honestly can't believe that any exhaust system gets quieter with age as some have said. Gary Cooper has had his on for a while now and his didn't mellow with age, cause he still dislikes his as much as I do.
I won't be going back on, it's up for sale.

Peace
Paul

So how much are you selling your "just a tiny bit used" catback set up? I may be interested.

Eric

Eric:

Got it Friday Nov.14th…installed it Saturday Nov.15th……Drove it for an hour on Sunday Nov.16th. Didn’t care for the extra volume……took it off the same day.

It’s 1 hour “new” and back in the box ready to be installed on a more deserving vehicle.

Almost everybody on this forum loves this system, I happen to be the odd man out
on this one.

I paid $398 with shipping…..I’d like to re-coop my $350 back on this sale. I will pay shipping FedEx OR UPS your preference. Save yourself $40-50 with this deal.

Would need postal money order or bank check prior to shipment.

Anyone interested, please PM me. I don't want to clog this thread, it is listed in the "Parts For Sale" section here also.

Peace
Paul
