You're quite right... for future reference, all you have to do is:

1) Remove the fuse cover
2) Straighten out a wire coat hanger
3) Tape the wire to the end of the coat hanger
4) Put your hand in the radio opening towards the fusebox
5) Poke the coat hanger/wire through from the fusebox opening to meet your hand
6) Relax with a smug grin on your face for a job well done.
