I noticed when looking at them that they are designed to be installed at the rear of the speaker, in series with one of the spade posts. I think it is more difficult to access the system at this point. Doing the work behind the little access panel isn't too bad, but the plug won't take a spade connector.

Thank you for pointing this out! The reason I wanted to go with the bass blockers was no cutting, but I ASSUMED the speakers in the doors had spade connectors......... wow thanks for letting me know...
I guess I need to get smart on the capicitor installation method.
