Or you can run it to the switched power outlet in the fuse box (fuse 5 in the underhood accessory fuse box), which will cut power when you shut off the car.


I used a Littlefuse FHA200BP ATO Fuse Add-A-Circuit Kit to piggy-back a fuse in that slot.



I added a fuse panel just for my GPS, stereo components, cell phone, and radar detector.
