I used a Littlefuse FHA200BP ATO Fuse Add-A-Circuit Kit to piggy-back a fuse in that slot.

I added a fuse panel just for my GPS, stereo components, cell phone, and radar detector.

Here's the auxiliary fuse panel diagram.

Fuse Box Write Up
OK, ATO fuse, ATC fuse, what is the difference (if any) and does it matter? And, I notice everyone goes to the engine area fuse box. Can you use the fuse box inside on the left side of the instrument panel by the driver's door?

If you look in the Crossfire Service Manual, on page 1325 (section 8W-10-12), you can see on the diagram that fuse 12 is wired to power up with the ignition switched on, but it's not in use. I used this to hardwire my GPS. Works perfectly.

Why do all the hardwire installs go to the fuse box in the engine. Is there anything wrong with using the one on the L side of the dash?
