Diesel fuel is even more expensive. Vehicle road licence (Tax) for my 06 Xfire is £400.00 and incressing next year. I have a clean driving licence and have passed retirment age but still I can't insure my Xfire for less than £360.00. per year
Transport companys are laying off staff and closing down, even small local taxi firms are going bust, the fuel cost in the UK is out of control.
And added to that, a goverment that has no idea how to run the country. If our prime minister Gordon Brown was Captain of the "Titanic" after hiting the iceburg and starting to sink would probably ask," what water".. Just log on to any UK news station and you will see the mess that the UK is in, and perhaps then understand my fuel cost grip.
