Coming home from the grind today, pulled into the ATM lane at the bank and felt a weird vibration and noise coming from under the hood. Pulled out into the parking lot and raised the hood. It appears the rubber core around the damper has come apart and the only thing holding the pulley on the shaft was the belt. Luckliy I was only about a mile from the house and I limped it home.

Anyone else have this happen ??? And does anyone know the part number to the vibration damper assy ? Is it a Benz part or do I have to deal with Chrysler on this one ? HELP !
