I just tested mine.
Weather conditions... Thunder storms approaching. Temp 85. Humidity 88%
With it in "D" driving like a sane person. (normal easy on the excellerator). Shift from 1 to 2 at right about 1800 - 1850 rpm at 11 mph.
Standing on the excellerator it shifts... 5,800 rmp at 35 mph.
Standing on the throttle and holding the shifter to the left... shift at 6,100 rpm at 38 mph.
Mine's been chipped so I think the slightly higher rpm and speeed at shift if because of the change in the shift points and the higher line pressure.
And you're right... I doubt this will end it.
