Today it was raining and I was bored so I decided to clean my tips too. My car is in a dark basement and I see like crap in the dark. First I cleaned them with steel wool. Still black. Broke out the blue nile metal polish. Dang, still looks black to me. Up stairs to get the tripoli, drill and felt tip. That should do the trick. Started polishing and low and behold a shiny spot appears! Uh oh! MINE ARE PAINTED BLACK. Man I hate being blind. So, should I repaint them or strip the paint and shine them up. The shined tips look hot if you ask me.
