Cleaning exhaust tips!
Damn!! Everyone's exhausts look great. I like to wash and clay bar my exhausts before doing any metal polishing to try to get all of the bigger chunks out first. Then, polish with a metal polish like everyone here has mentioned. After this though, I like to add protection. I find Klasse All In One creates the best balance between shine and longevity of protection. Any sort of protection will make it easier to maintain in the future.
tried mother's mag and aluminum polish works excellent!!!! A++++ used without the minipowerball just used towel to apply and to buff then polish with microfiber!! nyone know why xfire spits out black watery like substance on cold start? possible o2 sensors? or smthin else? any help would be greatly appreciated~
Cold starts use a rich mixture of fuel and the combustion process produce moisture, presto an inky fluid results. Later the exhaust system is warmer and the moisture exits the pipe as steam. The exhaust still has some sooty components but nearly as much due to the leaning of the mixture.
