Re: Tires Goodyear F1's
I was just reading some of the follow up on the tires, many years ago I drove non stop from London to Marseilles some 1500 miles, in a volvo with pirelli tires - the tires basically overheated on route and went to coin the mechanics phrase "oval" , I changed to goodyear and a harder compound and no more trouble..
Although I was advised to slow down every hour or so to give the tires a chance to cool a little !
I wonder if these F1's need a little cooling off once in awhile? we've not noticed any ecessive road noice with ours - we do often find that semi truck depressions in the road send the cars into a bit of a roll and that does generate lots of noise as they roll across the depressions.
