If you’ve got the window pillar well padded and the bulkhead wrapped both sides and top, then that should do it. One more option is that the creaking is coming from the door panel just at the latch housing. Try applying some Velcro as I show in this thread. This is a notorious creaking point. This can be mistaken for the bulkhead or window pillar creak.

There is also a TSB for the window pillar rivet. This may also be a source of trouble depending on the year Xfire you have.
