Wow.....so what you guys are telling me if I understand all this correctly is this:
When one drives a Xfire equipped with Autostick gearbox like a reasonable, normal driver it will start in 1st, provided the selector switch is in S for Summer and not W for winter and then:
a) with moderate application of the throttle shift up early to lower rpms and save fuel since I am apparently not in much of a hurry.
b) with WOT application allow much higher REVs and really get going fast and then shift up into second, third and so on.
OR
If someone drives like a complete nutcase who doesn't understand the basics of automatic transmissions it will behave more in tune with it's driver and first upshift early and then back down once that moron behind the wheel stomps on the accelerator and then back up once the rpms reach somewhere around 5500
Does that sound about right.....because if so I am glad to report that my lovely Blaze is just fine.....just like WM's or
JS's or Bobs or any other Autostick Xfire out there
