One thing caught my attention in WM's post though. The fact that he said the shift points were moved due to his ECU tuning. This raises the question on whether the tranny is somewhat adaptive like in most new VW's and Audis where the ECU actually "learns" your driving style and can lead to some confused shifting if a different driver, using the same ignition key, drives the car. Or is it running on a fixed program and hydraulic pressures ?

My buddy back home in Germany gets a lot of customers that "complain" about erratic shifting A6's and A8s ....solely because they used the wifes key
They may also be crammed up against the steering wheel by their power seat, but that's another topic. :lol:
