I agree with Tom that this is probably the best and possibly more affordable way to get a manual in the SRT, but the autostick is nice for drag racing from a dig, not so much from a roll
It can't be too tough to do. I mean, the drive train is almost identical between the base/limited/SRT, the manual transmission from the limited should drop right in. OK, you might need to beef up the springs in it, or the clutch plate, bur that shouldn't be too terrible.
I also agree with Roaster with a Stick. The autostick in the SRT is a far cry from the other autosticks that I've driven. The Mitsubishi and Toyota models are total crap. This is much different. AMG knows how to make a tranny. I still HATE the lag between when I tell it to shift and when it does. That really smokes me. But it is the BOMB for drag racing. I wouldn't want it for autocross though.
