Here is the part that I don't get. The performance strong suits for this car are found in the twisties and on top end. It also stops with the best of them. It is average at best in straight line performance. You seem fairly knowledgeable about perforamce stuff so this was not news to you. It seems to me that you are going to go to a lot of effort to make this car something it is not. In the process you may well lose some of what it is. I just read that the new vette does 12.7 in the quarter for under $45K. Why not do this instead if you want to play stop light bandit?

I don't like NOS for all of the reasons that you don't want to hear. The one thing it will do for you is quickly identify the weak link in your drive train. Keep us informed. This should prove interesting.
