6 speed

Amen - I get so sick of the "if you want speed just go buy a SVT6" comments - I already OWN a crossfire, why would I want to buy another one? Without 10,000 dollars down to overcome my negative equity, I couldn't buy one anyway, so it IS cheaper for me to go the aftermarket route than to buy a new car.

Just my ((($1.00 * 2)/4)/25)

Bobba, just so you know, alot of us out here really DO appreciate your comments, and letting us know about all the mods you're doing and their results. I havn't even chipped my car yet, but I want to, and I'll be honest - I want to take my little non-SVT coupe all the way up to 400HP - I love it. I can't buy a new SVT6, I'm not going to buy one, and I don't see anything wrong with wanting to make the car I have go faster. There will always be a faster car, sure, but that doesn't mean I should just give up and settle with what I have. Please keep up your posts - I learn a lot reading from you and all the other modders out there.

yup its true but if the incentives hit the SRT-6 not svt. SVT is the ford performance division "Special Vehicle Team". I may attempt to try and get the srt6. I mean who thought i be paying what i am on a 36k car. I'd spend another 100 a mo for the srt6.

You are of course correct -SRT, not SVT. Guess that just proves how un-interested I am in trading my baby for a newer model

Hey whats up, I see you found my 1st post. I'm one of the half or so dozen of people always searching for power. Any mods that fit the slk32 will fit the crossfire srt-6. I would bother much with an exhaust, will yield a worthless amount of hp. AMG already did a good job with yet. Check into swapping out the supercharger pulley 1st, yield a huge difference, Renntech makes one as long as some others. Panel filters, chip, pulley and exhaust will put you over the 400bhp mark.
