When I "wind her out", as it were, my tach will commonly read 6.3k -6.5 k before shifting (Manu-matic). I know it is rev-limited to 5.5 or something, but it doesn't seem to be needle slap. I will put the Nitrod to work to see a digital readout when the weather clears.
