Thank You, Thank You..

Removed the two screws holding the perforated panel in place, pulled the panel down, found the air filter box. undid the two clips, and lo and behold, not only a box for the filter, but a charcoal filter installed......

Huh! and in a 07 base coupe.... No mention of a cabin air filter on anything printed..... or the window sticker..

Well, I won't have to worry about getting a filter for a while.. I only have 2K on the car.

Thanks to everyone for all the information that has been posted . It is a treasure for a newbie, and I appreciate all your efforts.
