It's a supercharged version of the 2.7 used in the Intrepid, Concorde, 300, Charger, Magnum, Sebring, Avenger, and Stratus. Be glad we didn't have those motors in the Crossfire. They are ticking time bombs and I could just imagine a supercharged version. I'm a Mopar guy and I'll even admit that those engines suck.

If I'm not mistaken, the Dodge Copperhead had the n/a 2.7 in it too. I wish they would have made that car. It would have made an awesome Dodge counterpart to the Crossfire.
