I was concerned with buying an srt-6 because my '05 mustang GT's shifter was fun. But after driving the srt-6 it became clear that the rocket acceleration made shifting almost impossible. A human being simply cannot keep up with watching the road, their speed, and RPMs that would redline so dang quickly as the speedometer shot up so dang quickly. Its just impossible, and if a manual existed, it would definately be slower after the human factor mentioned above was weighed in. I wouldn't even want to deal with trying, if it were even an option.

All of that being said, I dont think a human could clutch/shift/clutch as fast as this auto tranny shifts. And since this auto tranny will easily redline when you want it to, it makes it even more evident why a manual wasn't offered.
