Default Crossfire lighting

I see numerous comments on the apparent poor headlights for our cars. It seems that some think the original equipment is insufficient and some think they should have HID lighting just because it is available. I must admit I was skeptical because of the obvious size until I used my original equipment lights on our recent Seattle trip.

I have never had such good lighting on a vehicle! They are brighter, cover a longer, broader pattern than the older halogen lights and yet not once was I asked to dim them! I'll keep what I have with no complaint.

C'mon guys, fess up. You forgot to take off your sunglasses--right?

PS For those with already oxidized headamp covers I would suggest one of the Mothers polishing *****. I have chucked mine in a 3/8" drill, I then apply some Meguirs plastic polish to it. Maybe 2 minutes polishing time and it should be shiny and new looking again. My previously very dull 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee bug deflector now looks at least as good as the day I bought it in 1996.
