In my case, I fell in love with the styling of the car first. After I started seeing the costs and availability of low mileage SRT's, coupled with the stats of this car against similar two-door sports cars, the pro's overran the con's. I hadn't owned an auto transmission car before and I did have that in my 'con' column, but I'd still buy the car again in a heartbeat. That said, if there is 'whining' from owners about the transmission I think it's because the car comes
so close to perfection for most.
I'd love to see the SRT-6's with a DSG transmission like VW/Audi's. I know I'd get use to the paddle shifters, but still would rather see something for your left foot.
