We had to order some bearings and they are $25.00 each, pistons $290.00, even the bolts were over $5.00 a piece.
After the initial fitting most of our shortblocks will be NON MB parts. ARP bolts, ACL bearings, and the other goodies will be custom. Surprisingly it should be a lot cheaper this way.
Main bearings? $25 each meaning pair or one single side? PS my buddy from work spent $100 EACH for
wrist pins. They are pretty hardcore though, his motor should be making 2000 hp or so.
