Unless you are familiar with the electronics of your car, you will need to have a shop install this just the same as any other remote start. Only difference will be mounting the RFID antennas and connecting the push to start shifter which shouldn't be a problem if they are a reputable shop. For the brave, it's a matter of getting at the wires in your ignition harness, soldering the appropriate wires and and doing the same down in the kick panel for the lock/unlock and then positioning the RFID antennas and connecting the push to start shifter. I'd say this is a 7 on a scale of 1-10 for ease of install. One thing you cannot do is use wire crimps or "scotch-locks". they need to be soldered so that the conention points are good and there is no way for them to get loose or become disconnected.

BTW, not sure if I said this but I want to make sure the fob will work with factory MB key blanks so there isn't any problem getting replacement keys.
