Default Re: Importing a Crossfire to Canada

Purchased my Pearlcoat Red in California, July 2008, NO MORE BUMPER PROBLEMS. July 15, 08 Canada amended the law on all bumpers if they comply with USA and Europe standerds.

Importing is very easy just go to RIV.ca and read all about it. We are now a 3 car US importer, Big savings are on Luxury Vehicals. Saved 11,000 Canadian on my 05, it had only 15M miles. Found it on cars.com

Follow the rules and you will have no problem. Every State in USA has it's own rules for out of state sales. California says to not pay state tax it must be either taken out by dealer or Car Carrier and dealer must have proof for their protection.

Additional info.
Make sure that you have the dealer in USA to get any work done by them prior to purchase as it is still under warrantee with them. Once it crosses the border you are out of luck with Chrysler.
Canadian Tire does the Daytime running lights with modual and installation for 100.00
On Line you can get from Chrysler USA the NO RECALL NOTICE for the VIN # make sure all that work is done on the car if needed by them as it is also covered at No Charge by Chrysler. NOTE some States mandate the Daytime lights so check the VIN.
