I don't think police care about seeing a radar detector, unless you are driving in an area where radar detectors are illegal.
Minnesota and California have a law against ( Minnesota has laws against almost everything ) attaching anything to the windsheild. If I attach my GPS to the dash it covers the same area of the windsheild as it would using the suction cup on the glass. It just proves we need to be way more careful who we elect.
