Default Re: Fiberglass "Scooped" Crossfire Hood !

I called AAR today and SMOKED my charge card. I also offered to drive down to Cocoa,Florida from Charlotte,NC to loan AAR one of my SRT-6's for 2 months. Their interested in me doing so towards the end of October. I'm sure we'll get a better quality fitting hood with my car there to spec. out as needed. These are nice people and don't bite. I sure hope the guard dog out back bites and doesn't pee on my tires! LOL. They shared some more information. This hood WANT have screens on the front. It can be made functional. Either by adding a air box hookup or by the hood underside structure made differently to connect. The cheaper method would be an air box adapter. I purchased the hood for out the door pick-up for $650.00. Do as you like but I wouldn't pay them extra to paint my hood. Your pro paint suppliers take your paint code then sets a portable computer on your hood to compensate for the years of fading. These freight companies might even stack a piano on top of your freshly painted hood. I had rather pay a local painter as my budget permits. This will most likely be our last chance for a quality functional custom hood. Don
