the hot air is going to get you on this setup, your trading slightly less restriction for undoubtably hotter air.

if you want to keep this style of intake id recommend you to switch to a k&n or other quality brand filter

please dont take offense to my comments but i guess id rather you be slight ticked about it then having to replace a motor due to the metal disc getting caught in a valve
