Most people spent more time critizing my proceedure than trying to understand what I wanted to accomplish! Most seemd to think I was trying to get at intake temps but that was not the point at all....I simply wanted to see what ambient air temp would be available at different points under the hood...including right on top of the throttle body where Harleyracefan put his filter!
