Default Re: Importing a Crossfire to Canada

I found an 06 Crossfire Roadster on Ebay, last Tues, bid on it and won. $19000 for a car with 7000 miles on it. . The car is for my 66 year old father. We flew down to Kansas City MO. on Friday, and drove the car back to the border. The car is sitting in storage in Buffalo until Thursday. I have imported several GM vehicles before, and thought I knew everything! Well I was wrong, the warranty issue was new to me. This car has a few warranty issues that I would like to have taken care of before I bring it home. Could anyone please give me the name of the dealer in the Buffalo area and maybe a name of who to talk too?. I am sure my Dad will gladly pay the 125 dollars to transfer the warranty. Do you suppose he could use his sister's Florida address for it? We haven't got to the RIV part of the process yet, but I hope that the bumpers are not an issue

Thanks

Jeff
