Trying out the Code 3 Intake Mod
I had the dreaded transmission leak this week and took the car in for service. I decided to remove the Needswings Intake just in case my dealership wanted to give me issues, and my other mods are so “hidden” I did not think they would notice. I had previously purchased the Code 3 Pulley, Spacers, and Intake but never put the intake on instead I opted for the Needswings. Having the Code 3 Intake Mod sitting in my tool box for months, I decided to install it on my factory air intake system for fun to try it out while my Needswings was off the car. I felt it was so small, the techs would not even notice it being they as they are working on the Transmission and would only have the hood open to check/ add fluids. I must say that this mod is interesting to say the least. The car feels extremely strong with the new Jerry Tune anyway and driving it today was incredible. The Code 3 Intake doubles if not triples the “supercharger whine” compared to the Needswings!!!!! I felt like I was in a 2004 Cobra Mustang. The “whine” is very pronounced and gave you the impression that the car was faster. I don’t have any time slips or dyno files to show any difference in the two, but the “butt dyno” felt like it was just as fast and the car is more fun to drive hearing the amplified whine of the supercharger!!! Cool Piece~
