If the car was raced and held up well to it then I would say it was broken in and should be trouble free. I doubt the original owner treated the car like crap, if he did it would be falling apart now.

Heck my old car that I boosted from 170hp to 350hp is still going strong and I raced it all the time. It now has almost 80,000 miles on it and it still drives like new. It is all about how you take care of it. Of course if they void his warranty I would want my $ back or at least a partial refund.
