Yeah its important to understand Chrysler's warranty has no relation to where you bought the car from or who modded it. All they care about is the actual car and if its modded or not, end of story. His warranty is void, I guarantee it.

But most importantly he needs to realize his car probably (knock on wood) won't have a major problem. These engines are strong. The OP needs to have some wrench skills and be ready to fix small things that I listed in my previous post, which any owner of any car should be able to do and avoid the dealer.

Coming from me, someone who panics about everything, it must mean something when I say don't worry.
