The supercharged vents are an off the shelf product. Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy those and have them cut into the stock hood like we did in the old days? Has anyone placed the vents on a stock hood to see how they line up with the seams? If the vents cost $150, I know I could have them painted and installed locally for less then $200. Can we get some photos of the vents sitting on the stock hood in different locations that fit the lines of the hood? I think matching body color or silver matching the side vents would both look great.

Anyone else interested in an inexpensive functional hood!
