Default Accessory Plug

The Crossfire comes without any "hot" outlet for cell phone and Ipod charging. I easily put one in. Know this was shown before. Think I just took some good pictures and it may be helpful. Start by removing the battery. Don't forget to turn off the alarm. Darn thing goes crazy when you remove the battery terminals. Must be some kind of back-up battery or capacitor powering the darn thing.

Below that is a plug with single grey wire going through the firewall. It's the black plug with screwdriver sticking through it in one of the pictures.

To get there from the front just pull down the floor mat, floor, white foam and maybe the overhead plate under the glove box. There it is in the top, right corner.

I just made a fused line from the battery junction box back under the battery box, through the grommet, around the front of the foot area and into the lip under the consul. Stuck a polarized plug at the end. Simple to make an accessory outlet to plug in.

One picture shows all that's showing. You can even shove it out of sight. I just put the accessory plug in that little net near the passengers' legs.

Modify it any way you want with any accessory you want. The wire is hot and will not change resistance for any existing circuit.
